CGS, the company that develops the Industry Solution 'Professional Services for Microsoft Dynamics AX', selected its longtime partner Avanade as the 'European Professional Services Support Centre'.

Avanade provides the following Professional Services support:

Training sessions: to get CGS partners up to speed to sell and implement the CGS Professional Services module. These sessions are organized as standard open trainings or on-demand, according to the specific wishes (timing, location. )of the customer. Mostly, on-demand, customized training sessions are organized at the customer site but there is also the possibility to organize a custom training session at our offices in Ghent (BE).

Additionally, there will also be training sessions held about: Microsoft Project Fundamentals (MSPF), Microsoft Project Advanced (MSPA) and Microsoft EPM Fundamentals (MSPE).

Training Objectives

  • Understand Foliodev’s Professional Services strategy and future roadmap, and be able to compare it to competitors
  • Discover the sales material and features that Professional Services offers on top of standard Project Accounting
  • Get familiar with Professional Services to demonstrate and to sell the solution to existing and new clients
  • Get a clear view on the integration of the Professional Services solution with other applications
  • Get familiar with the configuration of the Professional Services solution
  • Discover everything about the functionalities Professional Services has to offer
  • Learn more about the integration of the Professional Services solution with other applications

Training prerequisites for participants:

  • Basic AX knowledge: Look&Feel, Basic, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
  • Mandatory functional project management and accounting knowledge and/or experience; basic understanding of definitions, concepts and business processes within projects (e.g. PMI PMBOK)
  • Project I theoretical knowledge (preferred, but not mandatory)
